KC Phillips is a seasoned musician and producer with a passion for blending soft rock, hard rock, electronic music, and blues into his original sound. He has been performing professionally since the age of 16 and has played over 3,000 gigs both with bands and as a solo act. KC manages his solo career, produces all his own music, and leads two dynamic projects: his electronic group Lanok and his rock band Mercury's Transit. He also plays records, writes songs, and brings his diverse musical talents to every stage.

Story

KC's musical journey began in Wisconsin, where he bought his first guitar as a teenager and quickly found himself touring the state with the band Saffire, performing in clubs and honing his live chops. After moving to California, he continued to build his reputation playing guitar and singing with notable acts including Midnight Angel, Artisan, Toast, and Phred & the Inspectors. Over the years, KC has taken the stage more than 3,000 times—captivating audiences with heartfelt blues, high-energy rock, soulful soft rock, and electrifying electronic performances. Today, KC balances life as a touring artist, producer, and bandleader. His solo work showcases his versatility and musical depth, while Lanok explores innovative electronic soundscapes and Mercury's Transit delivers powerful rock energy.
